Hello it's Jocelyn and Francesca!

Our Title: Helping with Clothes
Our Objective: Learn how to sew and make old clothes into trendy styles. Sell the clothes and keep a percentage of the profit and donate it to women's homeless shelters.
Action Plan:
  What is going to happen?

  1. Make a budget for buying clothes
  2. go to the thrift store and find clothes to reinvent in style
  3. Restyle the clothing
  4. Use Mercari to sell the clothes
  5. Save some of the profit and donate it to a women's shelter
  When will stuff get done?
Make the budget before we go to thrift stores. Hopefully by February 17th. After that the other dates will be placed.
Who is in charge of what?
Jocelyn is in charge of the money. We both will be watching and researching how to sew clothes and we will both be deciding which clothes will be restyled. Francesca is in charge of uploading pictures of the clothes and selling them and sending the clothes.
 Is there a cost?
There is a cost because we have to buy clothes and send the clothes that gets sold. Our budget for everything right now is $100.

  1. This is a really cool idea and it sounds fun! I was just wondering what percentage you would be donating to the shelter? and also what type of clothes you plan to make?

  2. This is such a great idea! I was wondering how much you plan on selling the items you make for and how would theses women even be able to afford that if they are homeless?

  3. I like this idea! I think it is a fun way to learn how to sew and revamp old clothes or going to the thrift store instead of spending a lot of money on new clothes. But a few questions. What women's shelter will you be donating to and how much will you be giving? Also, will the percentage of profit that is kept change depending on the price that an item is sold for?
